In 1991, Natas Kaupas left SMA and co-founded 101 Skateboards along with Steve Rocco. 101 became an outlet for Natas to employ his graphic and artistic talents while still actively skating. 101 dropped some of the most groundbreaking videos of the early 1990s with team riders that included Natas Kaupas, Eric Koston, Adam McNatt, Clyde Singleton, Gino Iannucci, Jason Dill, Gabriel Rodriguez, Kris Markovich, Andy Stone, Leigh Peterson and Marcus McBride but eventually called it quits around 1997.
