Bulldog Skates (BDS) Skateboard Decks and Wheels

Bulldog Skates existed to provide Skaters with quality skateboard products in an industry fueled by overseas production, mass media, and hype. It was solely owned and operated by Wes Humpston and Rich Fosmire. The soul of Bulldog Skates is the art and design of Wes Humpston.

Wes has been making, painting and designing boards for over 25 years. Wes's creative efforts have been seen in skateboards, clothing, shoes, snowboards, surf products, guitars, as well as hundreds pieces of original art. His works are becoming increasingly popular and more and more collectible. Bulldog Skates is the continuation of a life's work. There was a lot of pent up creativity that was yet to be unleashed back in 2002. Wes is well known in the industry. Back in the day he hooked up with Jim Muir and they started Dog Town Skates. They came up with the first wide boards anyone had ever seen: 8", 9", 10", 11", and 12" boards. They would go buy warped planks of hard wood and cut the first concave boards out of them. It seemed like the better boards they had, the better they would skate and so were always making new boards with new drawings and paintings.

Rich "Foz" Fosmire, Operations, Owner

Rich was responsible for the day to day operations of Bulldog Skates. Rich dealt with the suppliers, customers, advertisors, etc. He answered all of the bulldog e-mail and filled most of the orders. If there is a product need that you had, and it makes sense, Rich got it made.
