CCS 1991 Fall Catalog
The CCS 1991 Fall Catalog is not just any skateboard catalog – it’s a time capsule that captures skateboarding during the early 90s. From the old school shaped Powell, Santa Cruz, Real and Vision decks, to Gullwings, Trackers, and Cross Bones. The catalog is a snapshot of the skate gear that defined the era.
Inside you’ll find classics that have been reissued, some multiple times, and some that won’t be reissued that are sought after by OG collectors. Some notable decks include a Barbee Hydrant, Hawk Medallion, Jessee Guadalupe, Roskopp One, and Jason Lee Dear George.
All decks at the time were $41.95, plus $3 for Powell, World Industries and New Deal. Add an extra $2 for “slick bottom” wood. For $99.95 you could make it complete with your choice of trucks and wheels.
The 32 pages of rad goodness contained decks (option for completes), videos, banners, trucks, wheels, protection gear, plus clothes and shoes. There were a heap of accessories as well. Gear like Powell Nose and Jaw Bones, Ugly Sticks, Tracker Riser Pads, Rib Bones and Z-Rails.
It’s a bit of a rabbit hole this catalog, as are most of them. Once you start to explore you just keep going. Whether you skated back when Street was just starting to kick on from ramps and Vert, or you are a true OG Collector, the 1991 CCS Fall Catalog is a good read.
