Gotta Catch ‘Em All.. or in this case, Gotta Collect ‘Em All. The Santa Cruz x Pokemon collaboration is a late 2023 Blind Bag Skateboard Deck release. Just as with the cards, you have no idea what you’re going to open. With 15 holo foil and 5 limited edition gold foil decks, there’s 20 variants in total. Each board has a different Pokemon featured, with a few doubling up in the gold foil variants.

You had to be quick!

These sold out quickly the world over. All reports say they were gone from 99% of shops within 10 minutes. There were Pokémon collectors lining up outside skate shops first thing in the morning, which surprised actual skaters and skateboard collectors. Turns out the flippers were all over these as well, with what appeared to be hundreds up for sale at huge prices within the hour on sites like eBay. So if you managed to snag any, well done.

Do you feel lucky?

Limited Edition, with only 50 of each available worldwide, the Gold Foil variants are a collectors dream catch. With 5 in total featuring Pikachu, Mimikyu, Gyarados, Charizard and Eevee, that’s 250 up for grabs. But you have no idea what is inside each blind bag, so it really is pot luck. Good luck trying to get your hands on all five.

The Gold Foil variants feature black and metallic gold ink over metallic gold foil. The top of the deck also features the Pokemon, which is different to the holos which have a pokeball.
