All Powell Classic Wheels are made in Skate One’s skate wheel factory in Santa Barbara, CA, USA. Only team tested proprietary urethanes are good enough for Powell Classic premium wheels. We utilize three different chemistries to offer skaters the very best wheel for the style of skating they prefer.
Powell Park Formula
Powell Park Formula is unsurpassed for skateparks and ramps, providing extra grip on smooth surfaces and twice the life of ordinary wheels, no matter where you ride them.
Powell White Formula
Powell White Formula is our high performance, state of the art, high rebound universal urethane. It is outstanding for street or ramp offering superior speed, roll, and controllable grip.
Powell All Terrain Formula
Powell All Terrain Formula is a special, soft 80A, poured on a small hard urethane hub to keep your bearings in place, give you the softest ride possible, and maximize speed and roll. This formula will out perform and out last traditional soft wheels, so if you ride where hard wheels don’t make sense, these are the ones to get.
Special application wheels
At Powell we believe there is more than one type of skateboarding, and our wheel line reflects this. Our Softie Series pr wheels are conventional street shapes poured in a softer durometer. These are ideal for beginners and skaters dealing with rougher terrain. Check out the new Bowl Bombers, an old school approach to pool and vert situations. For the more contemporary bowl skater, we have Bowlriders, great for the skatepark! Our Wings Cruiser line is great for longboarding, and the smaller Bat Wings cruiser is perfect for slalom or filmer board set-ups.
