BDS Shogo Kubo Single Conical Wheels
This beast of a wheel was designed with inspiration from old Wings stage one single conical from the late 70’s. Check out almost any photo of Shogo from back in the day and you will likely see a wheel that looks really similar. A custom mold set was engineered for the BDS Shogo Kubo Single Conical Wheels, updating the shape slightly, added a core, and Wes drew up a beautiful intricate engraving of twin dragons. Photographs do not do justice to the detail in this art, you’ve got to get a little dust in the engraving before it truly all comes out. Look really close at the top of the mouth and you’ll see row of sharp teeth.
There were two types available, a 92A and an 85A soft pour:
92A
If you are tired of sliding out on slippery ramps or your local parks surface is just too slick, this is your wheel. A monster running surface, you will be blown away at the performance of this beefy wheel. Chicken ripped up his pool on a set of these mounted to a flat pig boards. The 92A was available in Yellow.
85A (Soft Pour)
A very soft wheel poured for a select group that want to cruise the sidewalks and streets, or were just plain tired of the hard wheels around the time. It was being used often on longboard set ups. A skeptical local skater tried these out in the big half pipe at Vans said, “It felt like snow boarding through fresh powder”. He picked up a set of BDS Shogo Kubo Single Conical Wheels the next morning. The 85A was available in Neon Green
