Bones Brigade Series 2 McGill Skull & Snake Reissue Deck Silver

Released in 2013, the Bones Brigade Series 2 McGill Skull & Snake Reissue Deck came in a silver colorway. It was a limited edition with 2500 decks released. The Skull & Snake graphics were originally done by VCJ in 1984.

“I always admired the classic Ray “Bones” Skull and Sword graphic, so I wanted a cool-looking skull graphic. I expressed that to George Powell and VCJ, and they came back with a really cool-looking skull except it had giant devil horns on it, which I hated. So VCJ asked me, “What elements surround you that you like?” I said I liked snakes, and VCJ figured why not add some lightning bolts to it as there are plenty of both in Florida where I grew up skating.”

The decks was also released as part of a complete. It featured a Bones Brigade Mike McGill Reissue Deck, Independent 169 Trucks, Bones Reds bearings, Mini Logo risers, Mini logo grip tape, mini logo hardware, and Black Powell Peralta Rat Bones 60mm wheels (Green Rat Bone Wheels were also available).

The McGill 2nd Series Skull & Snake deck was released to celebrate the release of Stacy Peralta’s film “Bones Brigade: An Autobiography”. Perfect for riding, gift-giving, collecting and displaying. This skateboard deck was part of the second colorway, or now known as Series 2 or the 2nd Series.
