What Powell Said – Powell Old School Decks
With the construction of so many new skate parks in recent years, there has been a growing demand for old school shapes and graphics. We offer these six decks to give the mature skater some choices he can relate to. Although the graphics may come from yester-year, these decks are no wallhangers. All Powell Old School decks are made using our contemporary K-10 mold to be fully functional assault weapons.
Powell Decks are constructed from 7 plys of hard rock maple, AirLam™ fused with waterproof Type | glue, and sealed against moisture with a water base acrylic semi-gloss finish. Sublimated graphic decks are coated with our SST™ slide treatment for longer slides. Silk-screened decks are top coated with a final clear coat to add additional protection to the multi-layer ink coating. Powell decks are warranteed against delamination for the useful life of the deck.
