Comments from back in the day about the Santa Cruz Meek Slasher Reissue Skateboard Deck White (2011):
May 7, 2011: are these re-issues have the same triple concave as the original slashers from the 80s? says lil – NHS Fun Factory replied no the concave is different.
April 22, 2011: how can i make this board similar to the boards in vids like streets on fire, i bought a red dog dogtown board with indys and re issue wheels but i couldnt get any pop the board was to heavy. in short i want a board that can pop and do every trick in your 80’s vids. need recommendations for deck wheel and trucks. says will – NHS Fun Factory replied Pretty much the exact same set up would be this board, Indy 169 trucks and 60mm bullet church glass wheels!!!!
April 16, 2011: What trucks and wheels and riser pads would u suggest If im making this into a mini longboard says Luke K – NHS Fun Factory replied indy 169’s, Ricta clouds 57mm, and risers equaling 1/2 inch… no wheelbite!!
April 13, 2011: Hi what trucks would you reccomend for this board? says thrashin – NHS Fun Factory replied 215’s or 169’s… if your riding a wider, bigger wheel then 169’s might fit and look better. 215’s will make your wheel pop out a bit. if your looking to do more shredding then ride the 169’s. if your going to mainly cruise around on it then rock the 215’s. my 2 cents
April 10, 2011: Can You guys make this board into a complete cruzer? says Luke K – NHS Fun Factory replied Probably not going to happen.. this is such an iconic die hard skate graphic… ??
April 10, 2011: is this the bottom or the top of the board says Luke K – NHS Fun Factory replied Bottom has the graphic, grip tape goes on top.
April 9, 2011: would it still work like a longboard once you put the wheels on it? says Luke Kaelin – NHS Fun Factory replied yes. super soft and comfortable.
April 8, 2011: could you be able to put longboard wheels on this deck? because the art on this board is awesome and I also love the shape says Luke K – NHS Fun Factory replied yes you would
April 7, 2011: Does it have the flip tail? Like the Bullet? says Chad – NHS Fun Factory replied yes it has a kick tail on it.
March 14, 2011: are these boards good for riding bowls/pools says henry butterworth – NHS Fun Factory replied You bet cha! This board is specifically designed for pools and bowls!
February 25, 2011: How long is the board? I’d really love to have one says rafaël – NHS Fun Factory replied 31″
February 24, 2011: how close in size and shape is this deck compared to the corey obrien fireball? and when ya gonna get that deck on here? says Sonny M – NHS Fun Factory replied totally different and we already did that one…
February 13, 2011: i have this deck and was wondering how i could tell if its a reissue or an original? says alex llanos – NHS Fun Factory replied send in a pic and i’ll tell ya or you could probably just go to your local skateshop and they will tell ya.
Yeah the image sucks, we know.. So if you want to send us a better one it’d be appreciated.
