About Sk8 Collector

From the skatepark to the wall, we ride and we hang. Since the 80’s we’ve been searching in the spirit of Won Ton “Animal” Chin. And we’re still searching some 30+ years later. But whilst we’ll shred till we’re dead, and have more skateboards than we’ll ever need, we were wasting time. A LOT of time!

As a skateboard collector the hunt is real. Chasing a deck can be like searching for Animal Chin, always just out of your grasp. But then there’s the ones you stumble across and think about grabbing. When was this released? Anyone got any info on this colorway? Is this a reissue? Is that a mini? You can search and sift, ask questions in the groups. You’ll get answers, but it’s not always convenient or timely.

Amidst the chaos, we decided to build Sk8Collector.com. A place where authentic information on skateboards is on tap. Somewhere we can preserve the specs of the decks, as well as original prices and other bits of interest. Somewhere you can reference a particular colorway and find out more details. An archive for the future anyone can enjoy. And at the end of the day, it’s a fun build and we’re just enjoying sharing the stoke.
